Since Phu My Hung is a popular residential area for expats living in Ho Chi Minh City, there are various choices of International Schools for foreign students. The Canadian International School is located at the peaceful South-end of the Phu My Hung area. Newly built in 2014, all the school facilities including swimming pools and playgrounds are clean and modern. It is well-known and it follows the school systems of Province of Ontario, Canada (certified by the government). The school runs curriculums from kindergarten to the secondary school. For students who want an advanced level of study, it is possible to participate in AP (Advanced Placement) programs and IB (International Baccalaureate) Diploma programs. If you are interested in teaching your kids with Montessori education, there is the Tiny Flower Montessori School, right next to the Canadian School. Unfortunately, this place is only for kids in kindergarten age. Another Montessori school in District 2 accepts children at the ages of 0~9. Korean, Taiwanese and Japanese International schools are neighbors to each other. Because the schools follows their own nation's education system, it is usually chosen by those who have future plans in those countries. They focus on helping students establish their identities in a foreign country. The oldest international school in Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon South International School is one of the most popular international schools in the city. Parents of the SSIS students will be satisfied to find all kinds of facilities (anything you could expect from a schools) and only teachers with higher education degrees. Even several psychology cousellors support the students with problems that students face in school. The school runs curriculums from early childhood to high school, certified by Western Association of Schools and Colleges (of the US) and the College Board of USA. Of course, AP program and IB Diploma program are also available. This school is also known for the high scores in the IB program it achieved (highest average in the city). Lawrence S. Ting school is NOT an international school, but a private high school (secondary school) for only Vietnamese. The interesting thing is that the school is chosen as the first Microsoft Innovative School in Vietnam. The quality of education of the school is high enough to be one of the top schools in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Except those mentioned above or shown in the video, there are more schools, such as the ABC, the Australian, the British, the Singapore, or the Renaissance International School in District 7 or nearby. If you have any questions, be sure to leave a comment. Enjoy!

Read 23 Things to do in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam: http://migrationology.com/2015/06/things-to-do-in-saigon-ho-chi-minh-city/ ►FREE eBook: http://migrationology.com/saigon-ebook/ When I was in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), along with eating as much Vietnamese food as I could, one of my goals was to film a travel video about some of the best things to do in Saigon. After putting together a complete list, it turned out to be 23, and I hope this list of attractions will help and inspire you to visit Vietnam’s largest and most exciting city. 1. Binh Tay Market - Binh Tay Market is one of the largest wholesale distribution markets, and a perfect place to go if you’re looking to go shopping in Ho Chi Minh City. 2. Thien Hau Temple (Pagoda) - Located in Chinatown, in District 5, the temple is dedicated to Thien Hau and I really loved the sculptures and the elaborate design of the temple. 3. Museum of Ho Chi Minh City - This museum offers a glimpse into the history and development of the city and Vietnam. 4. Bitexco Financial Tower - This is the tallest building in Saigon, and you can either go to the Skydeck or a cafe at the top for a view of the city. 5. Independence Palace (Reunification Palace) - Probably one of the most well known tourism things to do in Saigon is to visit the Independence Palace, the the former home of the president of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. 6. Saigon Cathedral of Notre Dame - With the French influence in Vietnam, the Notre Dame cathedral is a beautiful Catholic church. Attend a service or just visit. 7. Central Post Office - Designed by Gustave Eiffel, the Central Post Office in Ho Chi Minh City is an attraction mainly for its design and architecture. It’s a beautiful building. 8. War Remnants Museum - Although this is not one of the happiest attractions in Saigon, it’s a place to remember and honor the horrible events that are a result of a war. 9. Opera House - Right in Dong Khoi area, and there are still opera shows available. 10. Dong Khoi Street - This is the height of high end shopping in Saigon. 11. Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens - The zoo itself is not too great, but the beauty of the Saigon zoo is the botanical gardens, and the lush gardens, and taking a break from the city. 12. FITO Museum (Museum of Traditional Vietnamese Medicine) - I was quite impressed by the Vietnamese medicine private museum - very interactive and educational. 13. San Art Laboratory – If you love modern art, the San Art Laboratory is a great place to see and visit in Saigon. 14. Turtle Lake at Night - If you’re looking for some things to do at night in Saigon, head to Turtle Lake to chill out, relax, hang out with friends, and eat snacks. 15. Ben Thanh Market - One of the most famous things to do in Saigon District 1 is visit the Ben Thanh Market, one of the major central landmarks of the city. 16. Phu My Hung and Starlight Bridge - Located outside of central Ho Chi Minh City, Phu My Hung is a modern development, and a great place to walk around. 17. Water Puppet Show - Though originally from the north of Vietnam, water puppet shows are popular also in Saigon. I went to the Golden Dragon Water Puppet theater. 18. Museum of Vietnamese History - Probably one of the most extensive and important museum showing the history of Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City. 19. Rooftop Bar - Seeing Saigon from above offers a great perspective. 20. Fine Arts Museum - This was my favorite of all the museums in Saigon. The museum is housed in a well preserved building, and the art is amazing - located right in District 1 across the roundabout from Ben Thanh Market. 21. Jade Emperor Pagoda - Dedicated to the Jade Emperor, the pagoda has a real ancient feel to it, and it’s worth seeing when you visit. 22. Local Wet Market - One of my favorite things to do is visit a local fresh wet market, which you’ll find all over the city. The ingredients, food, and culture, all stand out at fresh markets. 23. Vietnamese Street Food - By my ultimate favorite activity in Saigon is eating street food, and there are an abundance of delicious Vietnamese street foods to sample. Thank you for watching this video about the top 23 things to do in Saigon, Vietnam. I hope it has given you some great ideas to help you plan your visit. ********************************************************************* Music in this video is from Audio Network Filmed and created by Mark Wiens and Ying Wiens: http://migrationology.com/blog & http://www.eatingthaifood.com/ & http://www.travelbyying.com/ Make a donation: https://www.patreon.com/markwiens Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/migrationology Instagram: https://instagram.com/migrationology Twitter: https://twitter.com/migrationology SNAPCHAT: migrationology ►Get your FREE Saigon eBook: http://migrationology.com/saigon-ebook/

Here goes another video of the Phu My Hung area. This time, we are walking to the South-East of VivoCity (West of Crescent Mall). Feel the cultural diversity in this area! You can easily find the products from your home countries such as nice Italian salami, Swiss cheese, Califonian wines and more in the Annam Gourmet Market or the US Mart. Furthermore, two international schools for your children (South Saigon Internation School, Lawrence S.Ting School) are located very close to the Rach Dia riverside. What a great environment! Deep inside of the town is a typical affluent residential area with hundreds of luxury private villas. Anybody who is eager to escape the noise and pollution of the city would truly love this place. I didn't expect that i can hear birds tweeting in Ho Chi Minh City. Also, a well-managed park, perfect for walking your dog, is right next to this area. The famous dating destination "Starlight Brigde" leads you to the opposite side of the lake, Crescent Mall and the Crescent Mall Residence. If you have any questions, be sure to leave a comment. Enjoy!

Đường Hai Bà Trưng(Hai Ba Trung Street) is named after the two brave Trưng sisters who bravely fought against foreign aggressors a long time ago(~1 A.D.). Since it was the largest road during the French colonial time, hundreds of shops and hotels are located along this road. You will never get bored! Besides the famous Ho Chi Minh City Opera House you will find here the great Restaurant Alley, the Snack Alley, the Book Street (duong sach) and of course the Hard Rock Cafe. If you have any questions, be sure to leave a comment. Enjoy! For watching Part 1(Hai Ba Trung Street, DISTRICT 1), click the link below: https://youtu.be/pPnogY5dGQM

Vietnam trip 2017 From Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi - Amazing Vietnam trip from the south to the north 2017 Ho-Chi-Minh-City - Mekong Delta - Mui Ne - Nha Trang - Hoi An - Hue - Sapa - Halong Bay - Hanoi See in Vietnam trip ================= Vietnam will show you sides of Asia that you've dreamed of. Lush rice fields at the bottom of stunningly gorgeous highlands, colourful water markets on the streams of the Mekong Delta and the endless bustling city life of Hanoi, where anything from school kids to fridges and huge piles of vegetables are transported on the back of countless motorcycles. Although Vietnam's huge cities are rapidly transforming into modern Asian metropolises, traditional culture is never far away. City life ----------- Head to Hoi An with its Venice-like canals and beautiful old town for some top sightseeing. Enjoy the old port, wander through its endless winding alleys and take a pick from its countless fine restaurants and shops, or relax on the beach. Once a fishermen's village, this town's now well-protected by preservation laws and has turned into a major hot spot for visitors. Hanoi is of course the summit of Asian city life. It's an incredible myriad of ancient traditions, old and modern architecture, sounds, smells, bustling commerce and famously crazy traffic. It's chaotic and enchanting at once - a great place to discover both ancient and contemporary Vietnam. Most sights are in the Old Quarter, including the famous Hoan Kiem Lake and the beautiful Bach Ma Temple. Spend a day or two in Ho Chi Minh City, or Saigon, the country's largest city. Nowhere are contrasts between old and new more ubiquitous and alive than here, where you'll find ancient pagodas and traditional street life at the feet of giant skyscrapers. Top sights include the Reunification Palace and Giac Lam Pagoda. Also well worth visiting is the former imperial town of Hue, with its beautiful Citadel and the Tombs of the Emperors along the Perfume River. Landscapes and nature -------------------------------------- Few countries are blessed with landscapes as captivating as those of Vietnam. For many travellers, the country's awe-inspiring limestone scenery, perfect beaches, islands, mountain ranges, rice fields and lakes are its greatest treasures. One of Vietnam's top attractions, Ha Long Bay, boasts thousands of limestone pillars and islands topped with dense jungle vegetation. Among the bustling port life, you'll find floating fishermen's villages, caves, and island lakes. Neighbouring Lan Ha Bay is as spectacular, but less busy. Head to Sa Pa and the Muong Hoa valley to get take in the views of local rice fields against a background of bamboo forests. Also in the north is Tam Coc near Ninh Binh. This area is famous for its karst scenery, rice fields, and caves and is best explored by hired boat. Phu Quoc, off the Cambodian coast, is the largest island in the country. Its delightful palm-lined beaches and tropical forests can compete with any in the world. Most famous in the south is of course the Mekong Delta. Here, the Mekong River empties into the South China Sea via a maze of smaller streams. It's a lush, green region and the source of half of Vietnam's agricultural produce. It offers scenic views of the rivers and rices fields as far as the eye can see. Here, natural landscapes and culture go hand in hand as life revolves around the water. The Mekong streams are a major means of transportation and host floating markets. Some best picks in terms of natural wonders can be found in the country's national parks. Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is famous for its natural caves and grottos, with underground rivers and cave beaches as well as stunning stalagmites and stalactites. For wildlife, try Cuc Phuong National Park. Museums ---------------------- For better insight in Vietnam's ancient traditions, culture and history, visit one of the many museums, some with truly excellent collections. The War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City will leave a lasting impression, particularly the chilling collection of war photography. Although not exactly neutral in tone, there are English labels. The HCMC Museum is in a building worth seeing on its own, and gives a nice overview of the city's history. For a broader history collection, try the fine History Museum, which has artefacts from several Vietnamese cultures on display. In Hanoi, the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is an excellent place to dive into the life of the country's tribal people. In the centre of town is the Fine Arts Museum has all kinds of arts on display, from high-quality wood and stone carvings to fabulous ceramics and textiles. Descriptions in English.
